What is the installation method and working principle of the valve ball?
Valve ball installation method
1) Remove the protective covers on both sides of the flange end and rinse and clean with the valve fully open.
2) Before installation, the entire machine should be tested according to the specified signal (electric or gas) to prevent vibration from affecting performance during transportation. Only after passing the test can it be installed online (wiring should follow the electric actuator circuit diagram).
3) Before connecting the valve ball to the pipeline, it is necessary to flush and remove any remaining impurities in the pipeline (which may damage the valve seat and ball).
4) During the installation of the valve ball, please do not use the actuator part of the valve as a lifting point to avoid damaging the actuator and accessories.
5) The valve ball should be installed in the horizontal or vertical direction of the pipeline.
6) The pipeline near the installation point should not have any low hanging or external force bearing phenomenon. Pipe supports or supports can be used to eliminate the deviation of the pipeline.
7) After connecting the valve ball to the pipeline, please cross tighten the flange connection bolts with the specified torque.
Working principle of valve ball
The valve ball has the action of rotating 90 degrees, and the plug body is a ball with a circular through-hole or channel passing through its axis. The valve ball is mainly used in pipelines to cut off, distribute, and change the flow direction of the medium. It only requires a 90 degree rotation and a small rotational torque to close tightly. Valve spheres are most suitable for use as switches and shut-off valves, but recent developments have designed ball valves to have throttling and flow control functions, such as V-shaped ball valves.

Main characteristics of valve ball
The main characteristics of valve spheres are compact structure, reliable sealing, simple structure, easy maintenance, and the sealing surface and sphere are often in a closed state, which is not easily eroded by the medium. It is easy to operate and maintain, suitable for general working media such as water, solvents, acids, and natural gas, and also suitable for media with harsh working conditions such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, and ethylene. It has been widely used in various industries. The valve ball can be integral or modular.
