Comparison of Forming Methods for Valve Spheres
There are many ways to process valve balls, but they can be roughly divided into three types: casting, forging, and spinning. So what are the characteristics of these three methods? Let the valve ball manufacturer take you to compare them
The forming method of valve ball is relatively good
(1) The casting method of valve ball is a traditional processing method that requires a sound set of smelting, pouring and other machinery and equipment, as well as a large industrial plant and many workers. The project investment is large, the process flow is multiple, the production process is complicated, and the environment is polluted. The technical strength of the workers in each process can directly affect the quality of the equipment. The problem of skin pore leakage of valve ball cannot be completely eliminated, and the rough processing capacity is large and the consumption is high. It is usually found that it is damaged due to defects during the entire processing, which increases the production cost and cannot guarantee the quality. This method is not suitable for our factory to choose.
(2) The forging method of valve ball is also another method adopted by many valve Hanzhong extruder bearing door companies in China. There are two processing methods: one is to use circular steel to break and heat forge into a spherical solid core blank, and then carry out mechanical equipment processing with Hanzhong extruder bearings. The second method for the Hanzhong extruder bearing is to press and shape a circular stainless steel plate on a large or medium-sized stamping machine to obtain a hollow hemispherical blank, and then carry out mechanical equipment processing on the welded spherical blank. This method has a high utilization rate of raw materials, but requires a high-power stamping machine, heat treatment furnace, and argon arc welding machine equipment. It is estimated that the project investment must be 3 million yuan to produce production efficiency, and this method is not suitable for our factory's situation.
(3) The metal material spinning method for valve ball is an excellent low cutting processing method, belonging to a new branch of working pressure processing. It combines the processing characteristics of forging, extrusion, rolling, and extrusion forming, and has a high utilization rate of raw materials (up to 80-90% of Hanzhong extruder bearings), saving a lot of processing time for Hanzhong extruder bearings (1-5 minutes for forming). After spinning, the compressive strength of Hanzhong extruder bearing raw materials can be doubled. Due to the small total area of contact between the spinning wheel and the product workpiece during spinning, the bearing quality of the Hanzhong extruder for metal materials is suitable for two-way or three-way pressure conditions, making it easy to deform. With a small driving force, a high enterprise contact pressure (up to 25-35Mpa) can be obtained. Therefore, the machine equipment is lightweight and requires a small total output power (less than 1/5-1/4 of the stamping machine). It has been recognized by the overseas valve ball field as an environmentally friendly and energy-saving ball processing technology plan for Hanzhong extruder bearings, and is also suitable for processing other hollow rotating body parts.
Spinning technology has been widely applied overseas and has rapidly developed into a trend for extruder bearings in Hanzhong. The processing technology and machinery equipment are very complete and stable, and an integrated automatic control system of machine, electricity, and fluid has been completed. At present, spinning technology has also shown a significant development trend in China and has entered a useful stage of marketing and promotion.
