Heat treatment of stainless steel spheres
The heat treatment of stainless steel spheres should first clarify why. From the metallographic structure of Jining extruder bearings, stainless steel spheres can be divided into martensitic stainless steel spheres, austenitic stainless steel spheres, and metallographic stainless steel spheres. The ball heat treatment methods for bearing materials of different Jining extruders are different:
The purpose of heat treatment for martensitic stainless steel spheres is to remove magnetism. Because the bearing steel ball will have magnetism during the cold heading or grinding process, the metallographic structure will gradually transform from martensite to austenite, and the corrosion resistance will also decrease. Therefore, on the one hand, the magnetic field can be removed through heat treatment, and on the other hand, it can be transformed into the initial martensitic Jining extruder bearing. In proper heat treatment, the temperature of the heating furnace will rise to 850, and the stainless steel balls will be insulated for 1-2 hours, and then poured into cold water for rapid cooling.
