Three molding methods for valve spheres
Introduction: Valve ball is a type of ball that we use in valves, usually made of stainless steel material. There are three key forming methods for valve ball. Let's take a look together below!
Comparison of valve ball forming methods:
(1) Valve ball casting method
This is also a traditional processing method that requires a complete set of melting, pouring and other machinery and equipment, as well as large and medium-sized industrial plants and a large number of workers in Lianyungang plastic extruder bearings. The project has a large investment, multiple production processes, complex production processes, and environmental pollution. The level of craftsmanship of each process worker's Lianyungang plastic extruder bearing can directly affect the quality of the equipment's Lianyungang plastic extruder bearing. The problem of water leakage from the internal structure of the ball cannot be thoroughly addressed. However, the processing capacity and consumption of raw materials are large, and defects are often found throughout the entire processing process, resulting in damage and an increase in product costs.
(2) Valve ball forging method
This is also another method adopted by many valve ball companies in China at present. There are two methods for adding bearings to Lianyungang plastic extruders: one is to cut off the round steel, add Lianyungang plastic extruder bearings for warm forging to form spherical solid core blanks, and then carry out machining. Next, the annular stainless steel plate is formed into the bearing of the Lianyungang plastic extruder on a large and medium-sized press machine to obtain the semi spherical blank of the hollow Lianyungang plastic extruder bearing, which is then processed into the semi spherical blank by electric welding. This type of method has a high utilization rate of raw materials, but requires high-power presses, heat treatment furnaces, and argon arc welding machines and equipment. The project investment may require 3 million yuan to generate production capacity, and everyone must act within their capacity.
(3) Valve ball spinning method
Metal material spinning is a machining method with minimal cutting and no chips, belonging to a new branch of working pressure machining. It integrates the technical characteristics of forging, extrusion, rolling, and rolling, with a high utilization rate of raw materials (up to 80-90%), saving a lot of processing time (forming in 1-5 minutes), and doubling the compressive strength of raw materials after spinning. During spinning, the total contact area between the shaft and the product is small, and the metal material is subjected to double or three-way pressure, making it very prone to deformation. With minimal output power, more contact pressure (up to 25-35Mpa) can be obtained for the bearings of Lianyungang plastic extruders in enterprises. Therefore, the machine equipment is lightweight and requires less total output power (less than 1/5-1/4 of the compressor), and has been recognized as an environmentally friendly and energy-saving ball processing technology in the overseas valve ball field.
Spinning technology has gained widespread application and rapid development trend overseas. The technical equipment is very complete and stable, and the integrated automatic control system of machinery, electricity, and fluid has been completed. At present, spinning technology has also achieved significant development trends in China and has already entered the stage of comprehensive promotion.
